The 2019 Toyota RAV4 drives into its next generation with amazing updates!

The Toyota RAV4 is completely redesigned for the 2019 model year, and already we can tell it's going to be a hit at our Sandusky dealership with customers from Lorain and other surrounding areas. The 2019 Toyota RAV4 proudly flaunts its grownup look, and we also love its stronger engine and enhanced safety features. 

Exterior

The previous generation for the Toyota RAV4 was fairly unassuming, but that's not the case with the 2019 RAV4. There are way more angles on this beast, and it has an aggressive-yet-stylish edge to it. It looks like a vehicle that is ready to go on adventures around Amherst OH, and you'll look great getting places. The slightly longer length with this newest RAV4 also means you'll get more cargo space for your gear. 

Powertrains

The Toyota RAV4 has a stronger engine for the 2019 model year. The current 2.5L has 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft torque. That is a big improvement on the old one that produced 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft torque! If you want to tow around Norwalk, you'll be pleased to know the Adventure trim can still tow up to 3,500 pounds when you get the all-wheel drive setup! 

Technology

Last year's RAV4 was well-equipped, but the 2019 RAV4 has some exciting changes up its sleeve. For tech-hungry shoppers with an iPhone, get ready to setup the Apple CarPlay™ infotainment system! You can use Apple CarPlay™ in place of Toyota's Entune, and we're excited this change has finally made it over. Depending on the trim, you'll get either a 7- or 8-inch touchscreen, so you'll be able to easily see the icons. 

Another tech upgrade on the 2019 model for the RAV4 is the revised Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. Along with the features that were standard on the Toyota Safety Sense, you'll also get road detection technology, lane tracing assist, and road sign assist.
