The eye-catching
exterior of the Crown sedans begins in the front with the downward sloping
hood, which is accented by sharp character lines. A pair of narrow, angled
headlights border an equally narrow slotted grille just below the hood to
create a somewhat aggressive appearance.
Protruding lower-body housing frames a
large, meshed, parallelogram-shaped grille that traverses almost the entire
width of the vehicle. The side view reveals an aerodynamic profile that ends with
a dramatic slope to the rear. A full-length upper-body curve ends in a sharp
character line. The lower door panels boast a contrasting geometrically-shaped
panel inlay.
Matte finished lower body cladding
encompasses the entire vehicle to include the high-cut and flared wheel wells.
Curves give the Crown's rear its three-dimensional. The taillights are
contained within a thin line that traverses across the sedan's width. A pair of
narrow brake and back-up lights lie just below trunk level.
