Interior Features of the New Tundra
There are
plenty of great interior features included in the new Tundra. You'll discover a
wide range of amenities that keep you safe, entertained, and comfortable. The
safety features of the Tundra include:
- Forward-collision
warning
- Automatic emergency
braking
- Lane-departure
warning
- Lane-keeping assist
- Adaptive
cruise control

The
forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking features work
together to help prevent potential collisions. The sensors placed in the front
of the vehicle can detect any objects that may randomly appear in front of your
vehicle. These sensors then send a signal to the internal computer in the
Tundra's electrical system when it detects an object. This signal then gets
processed and relayed to the automatic emergency brakes, which will slow your
vehicle down before you can react to the object.

The
lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist features also work together to
keep you safe as you travel around Elyria. These features use sensors like the
forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking features, but these
sensors get placed on the side of the vehicle. These sensors can identify the
width of the lane you are traveling and help judge whether you are staying in
the lane. If you start to drift, it will send a signal to the computer, which
will trigger the lane-keeping assist to help you stay in your lane.

The
adaptive cruise control feature uses the sensors located on the front of the
vehicle. These sensors can identify any vehicles that may be in front of you
while you are in cruise control and adjust the speed for you. The speed will
adjust to maintain a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front of
you.
The Tundra
also boasts infotainment tech for a comfortable interior. The Tundra offers an
8-inch touchscreen that you can upgrade to a 14-inch touchscreen. Also, the
Toyota Tundra comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot that requires
a subscription.
